Located 12 miles west of downtown Bend, Oregon near breathtaking Tumalo Falls, Uniquely situated on 640 acre private parcel of forested land and surrounded on all sides by the Deschutes National Forest, the property offers unlimited trails with outdoor activity right out your door, and easy access to Bend’s wonderful restaurants, galleries, brewpubs, and shopping.
From the early 1930’s until 2005 when we bought the Tumalo Lake property, the original family owners operated a small vacation resort. There were six small log cabins, one of which doubled as an office. In addition to the trout-stocked lake there was a swimming pool area at one side of the lake, an ice house, utility sheds and outhouses. It was completely off the grid.
Upon purchase of the property, we began to create a specialty resort that would offer luxury vacation rental accommodations built in a casual cabin style, taking advantage of gorgeous natural surroundings. Our aim is for you to enjoy the beauty and serenity of Tumalo Lake while staying in our spectacular cabins.
The Tumalo Lake Lodge property includes four luxury cabins (2-4 bedrooms) and the Lodge (6-8 bedrooms).
We hope you will enjoy the Tumalo Lake Lodge property as much as we do!
After living in Chicago and pursuing our careers for many years, we chose to move to Central Oregon for all of the outdoor activities right out our door, and for a more peaceful lifestyle. We love being in Central Oregon and enjoy sharing this amazing place with our guests. We love the Tumalo Lake property – its beauty and privacy, being immersed in nature, yet easy access to all that Bend has to offer.
